It was established on March 10, 2000 during the first National Women Conggres. It endeavors to work froma member-empowerment frame work to strengthen the organization and advocacy capacity of the member organizations to enable them to impact in advancing the status of women and their participation in national development process. Secondly, Rede Feto sets out to advocate and upholds women’s rights and advance gender issues.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;OUR MISSION:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Fight for and defend for the interest of women&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Empower women in order to achieve equality rights and contribute to development&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Promote women’s rights&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;OUR VISION :&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;East Timor women are free from any of form of discrimination so that they are able to develop themselves, to advocate for their rights and are able to contribute to global development.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;OUR GOALS :&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We envision Rede Feto as the leader in advocacy for women’s rights and gender quality in East Timor, have a strong presence among the national and international communities, have active and well functioning member organizations, have highly motivated and skilled staff in the secretariat, have committed and effective Board of Directors (BOD), a self sustaining organization creating lasting impact on the lives of Timorense Women.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;The Program &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;  Resources Development and Sustainability&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Increase and diversity funds to support network programs.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop a revenue generating program that will sustain operational costs.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Establishment of Rede Feto Center&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;REDE FETO ACCOMPLISHMENTS :&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Conducted 3 National Women’s Congress in 2000, 2004 and 2008.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Advocated for establishment of Office for Promotion of Equality.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Advocated for the declaration of November 3 as National Women’s Day.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Reprensentation to Security Council Conference in New York, Beijing Plus 10 Conference, CEDAW and others international conference.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Membership to the Consultative Committee on Petroleum Fund of Timor Leste.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;3-Year Strategic Plan develop by mostmembers of Rede Feto.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Implemented Humantarian Crisis Program in patnership with UN agencies&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Increased and diversified funding sources.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Secretariat Office : with complete office equipment and 2 vehicles for mobility.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;CEDAW ACTIVITIES :&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Bring CEDAW to advocate women issues on changing policies that discriminate women.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Lobby with national parties and goverment to ensure implementation of CEDAW.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Media campaign in TV, radio and newspaper.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Training of Traines ( TOT ) and discussion in IDP camp and rural village.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Writing SHADOW Report.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;REDE FETO PATNERS :&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Timor Leste Goverment &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Development and Peace (D &amp;amp;
